The service

Dingcut is a browser tool that turns a chat script into a video file. Rendering happens on your device. We store your scripts, uploaded images and sounds, and a record of exports so we can enforce plan limits.

Your content

You own what you write and upload, and the videos you export. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload. Do not upload content that is illegal, harassing, or infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

Sounds

The built-in sound library consists of original synthesized recordings. You may use them in videos exported from Dingcut, including commercially. You may not redistribute the library on its own.

Skins

Chat skins are stylistic recreations. Dingcut is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Discord Inc., Apple Inc., Meta Platforms, or Telegram. Their names are used only to describe the style.

Plans and payment

The free plan includes a fixed number of exports with a watermark. Pro is a subscription billed by Freemius, our merchant of record, monthly or yearly. You can cancel at any time from the Account page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refund requests within 14 days of a first purchase are honored.

Accounts and deletion

Anonymous stories are tied to a browser cookie and are deleted after 30 days of inactivity. Signed-in accounts keep stories until you delete them. You can delete your account and all its data from the Account page.

No warranty

Dingcut is provided as is. We do our best to keep it working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every browser will export. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
